It is part of the Point Reyes National Seashore, a protected area known for its stunning natural beauty, diverse ecosystems, and abundant wildlife. It offers breathtaking natural landscapes, including dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches, rugged coastline, rolling hills, and expansive grasslands. It is also renowned for its rich biodiversity and serves as a habitat for a wide variety of wildlife. Visitors have the opportunity to spot marine mammals, such as seals, sea lions, and migrating gray whales.
