This trail boasts stunning vistas and a variety of terrain, from gentle slopes to more challenging inclines. Our journey begins with an ascent up Spring Ridge, followed by a descent through Hamms Gulch. Along the way, we’ll traverse scrublands adorned with vibrant wildflowers and lush forests, complete with a picturesque creek crossing. Be prepared to be captivated by breathtaking views of the Bay throughout the hike. We’ll gather at the parking lot at 9:00 am, with our adventure commencing promptly at 9:15. Don’t miss this opportunity for an unforgettable outdoor experience!nn**Be Prepared:**nThis moderately challenging hike typically takes around 3 hours and 45 minutes to complete. Expect to encounter other visitors, as it’s a popular destination for birdwatching, hiking, and running. While dogs are allowed, they must be kept on a leash. **Be sure to bring extra layers, as it can get windy at the top**. Wear sturdy and comfortable hiking shoes or boots, apply sunscreen, and consider wearing a hat. Don’t forget to pack snacks, ample water, and, most importantly, bring along a positive attitude!nn**Parking:**nWhile parking is available at the trailhead, spaces are limited and weekends tend to be quite crowded.
