It is a short hike with little net gain in elevation. The trek is well worth it, but is a little bit rocky at some spots. The views from Dog Mountain are spectacular. Mount Baker, the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, Stanley Park and the Strait of Georgia are all prominently on display. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. The trail is kid friendly as well. Be prepared to say a fun fact about your hometown, careers, or yourself while respecting others. Bring your family and friends for a good time :)nThere is abundant parking where the trail starts at.nn**Things to Note:**nn* We’ll gather at the parking lot at 9.45 am and we’ll start to hike sharp at 10:00 am.n* Your attendance implies your consent to be in the photos and videos.n* Wear *hiking boots/shoes*, sunscreen, layered clothing.
