The loop descends from coastal bluffs with spectacular ocean views, through surprisingly lush mixed-species woodland, into a narrow canyon filled with lush old-growth redwood forest. It’ll be a nice day, so we may stop at the beach afterwards.nnPreparation: Please prepare with layered clothing, sunscreen and/or hat, sturdy hiking shoes/boots and at least two liters of water. Bring some snacks and protein bars. Poles are recommended.n Things to note: Your attendance implies your consent to be in the photos and videos. Dogs are not allowed on the trail.
