Nature, culture, and community come together for Planting Day, a special cultural and environmental event inspired by the Persian tradition of welcoming spring and the vernal equinox.

What to Expect:
🌱 Hands-on activities including planting, pruning, weeding, and raking
🌍 Symbolizing renewal, unity, and giving back to the Earth
🌎 Fostering a stronger sense of community & sustainability
🎉 Celebrating diversity and cultural appreciation
What to Bring:
✔️ Sturdy, close-toed shoes
✔️ Gardening gloves (some will be provided, but bringing your own is encouraged!)
✔️ Sunscreen and/or hat
✔️ Water bottle
✔️ Comfortable outdoor clothing

To keep these gatherings going, volunteers whose employers sponsor their time through corporate volunteer programs are prioritized. Many companies offer volunteer grants, donating funds when employees volunteer—please check if your employer offers this opportunity!
