Hike Overview:
Join us as we explore the amazing views of the Fairy Falls Trail, which features beautiful pastureland leading to a three-tier 100-ft waterfall!

We will gather at the pinned location at 9:40 AM and set off promptly at 10 AM.
Our hike begins at the remnants of an abandoned mine at the historic site of Spenceville. Following a dirt road, we will pass a creek and cross rolling hills. After reaching the end of the road, we’ll pass through a metal gate and climb a hill, emerging into a grassy meadow with a cattle crossing. From there, a trail leads us through a wooded area and exits at a great swimming hole nestled along the creek. We’ll continue along the trail, hugging the creek’s edge as we ascend another hill. Climbing the rocks, we’ll reach the overlook of Beale Falls, which is about 2.5 miles from our starting point. Here, we’ll have the option to either walk around the other side of the hill and ascend to the top of the falls or walk the steep trail close to the protective fence.

Parking Lot:
Ample parking space is available with no parking fees. Per the reviews, this trail is not very crowded. However, you will need to drive a few miles on an unpaved road to reach the parking lot.

Be Prepared:
Please bring:
– Water (minimum half a gallon)
– Shoes with good traction—the rocks near the falls are quite slippery
– Snacks
– Bug spray
– Sunscreen (much of the trail is unshaded)
Cell reception is poor, so it’s important for the group to stay together because otherwise communication will be difficult.

Do Not Attend: If you’re experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, have compromised immune systems, or if you’ve been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19.

Legal Disclaimers: By voluntarily joining us for any event, you hereby RELEASE and DISCHARGE Nature Bloomers organizers, hosts and participants from any and all liability, claims, demands or causes of action arising in whole or in part from our events.
