Yosemite National Park
April 28, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - April 30, 2023 @ 5:00 pm
April is a great month for spending time in Yosemite Valley. The waterfalls are flowing very nicely with spring snowmelt and the weather is super clean. As one of America’s most popular national parks, Yosemite boasts some of the best views, hiking trails, and vacation opportunities in the country. Starting from the floor of the Valley, we’ll attempt to explore all the way to the top of the falls. This trip has been a classic ever since its first ascent in 1875. Since then, thousands of individuals have made the trek. This trip is on every High Sierra hiker’s to-do list, and for good reason. Experience the ultimate Yosemite adventure!
The Trip:
On this three-day event, you’ll be exploring the Yosemite National Park, the Valley, Vernal Falls, Nevada Falls, and the glacial Hetch Hetchy reservoir providing the drinking water to the residents of San Francisco. You’ll be also learning about the rivers flowing through the valley, geology and the history of the valley, and glaciers in the Yosemite National Park. Finally, you’ll be experiencing mindfulness walks on the Evergreen site.
To join the event, you are NOT required to join the hike to the top of the falls. Instead, you can explore the valley and then join others in the afternoon.
