DESCRIPTION:Event 98 😎nnLet’s catch some beautiful views\, and get a great workout! Meet at 8:45 am and start promptly at 9 am to beat the heat! • Hike Details: Under 6 miles\, elevation gain of 2\,135 ft\, out & backnnNote: This is a moderate to strenuous hike! The views from the top over the entire Bay Area are very rewarding. Mission Peak Loop features beautiful wild flowers. On a clear day hikers can see the skylines of Oakland\, San Francisco and San Jose. The trail is a well maintained gravel base until the last half mile. From this point the trail is hard pack dirt and rocky. The trail offers a number of activity options\, such as horse riding and is accessible year-round🌲🌿nnThere is no fee for parking\, however on a busy day you may be required to park a little west\, on one of the side streets. Dogs are allowed on leash in developed areas.nnGUEST POLICY: If you have a friend who wants to come – have them sign up for the meetup and then they can sign up for the event you’re going on. Sorry ‘bout this – but it’s necessary to manage the large amount of people going on each event.nnBRING: Mask\, water (at least 2 liters)\, hat and/or sunscreen (no shade)\, snacks (we will stop for 20-30 minutes break at the top)\, hiking shoes/boots\, poles (optional)\, a must on this trail is a good attitude ! 😎nnGood Hiking Etiquettes: Please update your RSVP at least 48 hours prior to the event if there’s a change. If you RSVP “Yes” and/or attend any of our events\, it shall be conclusively presumed that you understand and agree to this policy. Only RSVP if you’re 100% going to make it.
