This coming Sunday we will be hiking the Dipsea Trail near Stinson Beach. The loop descends from coastal bluffs with spectacular ocean views\, through surprisingly lush mixed-species woodland\, into a narrow canyon filled with lush old-growth redwood forest. It’ll be a nice day\, so we may stop at the beach afterwards.nnPreparation: Please prepare with layered clothing\, sunscreen and/or hat\, sturdy hiking shoes/boots and at least two liters of water. Bring some snacks and protein bars. Poles are recommended.n
