Let’s harness the energy of October’s full moon; otherwise\, known as Hunter’s Moon\, and join us for a great sunset and night hike! While this time of year is synonymous with spooky season\, it’s also regarded as the beginning of the fall season since the autumnal equinox arrived on Sept. 22 — therefore\, the Hunter’s Moon marks the first full moon of fall!nWe will start the hike during the day and arrive at the summit of Mission Peak for sunset and moonrise.nn**Parking information:** Abundant parking is available at Ohlone College Parking Structure ($4 fee)\, but carpooling is recommended. Please get there by 4:30 pm to allow time for parking and getting a permit. We’ll be starting the hike at 4:45 pm.nn**Be prepared:** Wear hiking boots/shoes\, sunscreen\, layered clothing\, bring headlamps\, water\, and snacks. Polls are recommended.
