The views from the top over the entire Bay Area are very rewarding. Mission Peak Loop features beautiful wild flowers. On a clear day hikers can see the skylines of Oakland\, San Francisco and San Jose. The trail is a well maintained gravel base until the last half mile. From this point the trail is hard pack dirt and rocky. The trail offers a number of activity options\, such as horse riding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are allowed on leash in developed areas. Let’s catch some beautiful views\, and get a great workout! Meet at 9:15 am and start promptly at 9:30 am.nn**Be Prepared**nPlease prepare with layered clothing\, sunscreen and/or hat (no shade)\, sturdy hiking shoes/boots\, at least two liters of water\, snacks (we will stop for 20-30 minutes break at the top)\, poles (optional)\, and a good attitude!😎nn**Meeting Point/Staging Area**nWe will meet at the parking lot.
