The park opened in 1978\, born from local efforts to preserve open space instead of allowing development. \nThe park features scenic views and natural beauty. Trails offer stellar panoramas of the Peninsula and San Francisco Bay\, with a peaceful\, wooded atmosphere just minutes from urban areas. We will be starting the hiking promptly at 8.00 am. \n \nNote \n\nWe will be having a POTLUCK breakfast after the hike. If you plan to stay\, feel free to bring your own stove for cooking and boiling\, your plates and utensils.\n\n\nFor your comfort and safety\, we recommend wearing pants and long-sleeved clothing to help protect against sun exposure and potential insect bites.
